Christ - I thought i could finish all work before our next child.
Our child gráinne was born on the night of the 28th a couple of days early - an amazing experience - but oh so much work left for me - i can’t believe i just did this work- BDO & bump out liquid asthetics ….. i am so broken……..

Good friends of mine Cicada are presenting their long term project: MOB.

I have been producing a show for the midsumma festival, called Liquid Asthetics.
Listed as the premier event of the Midsumma Visual Arts curated Program. Liquid Aesthetics showcases the work of seven artists who explore the synergies between ‘queer’ as an experiential, political or theoretical space and the ‘liquid’ aesthetics of screen-based installation.
Artists: Catherine Hart, Travis de Jonk, Mart Lebedev, Owen Leong, Susan Long, Van Sowerwine and Monika Tichacek.
It has been a joy sourcing equipment and doing a new media install in less than three days - but we pulled it all off.
I got the room to look good by utilising the abscence of lighting and by using up every single black and psyche available.
